Referendum Tax Information

If successful, the $57.5 million referendum would fund significant improvements at Kaneland High School with a temporary tax increase of $244 a year for the average $280,000 home in the district. In 2029, prior bonds will drop off and that same homeowner will see a $720 annual tax reduction for the next 11 years, even if the referendum is successful.
