Summer School

Dates:
  • June 1st-June 26th for all 9th-12th Grade High School Sessions
  • July 6th - July 30th, 2026 for all K-5th Grade Sessions
  • August 3rd-7th for JumpStart for 6th Grade
  • All Courses meet Monday-Thursday
Course Offerings will include:
  • Core Content Interdisciplinary Camps (Literacy and Math - Elementary)
  • Based on Reported Standard Progress 
  • Engagement Camps Based on High Interest Topics 
  • Step-Up to Kindergarten Program for Incoming Kindergarten Students
  • Elementary Summer Day Camp *Available only to those participating in core content interdisciplinary camp and/or engagement camps who would like to extend their day to 3:30pm.
  • High School For Credit Courses (Comm. Studies, Government, Personal Finance, Credit Recovery)
  • Freshman Foundations of Success Course (for incoming Freshmen)
  • Jump Start to 6th Grade                                   
Locations: 
  • K-5 at John Stewart Elementary School in Elburn
  • 9-12 at Harter Middle School 
  • 6 for Jump Start to Middle School at Harter Middle School

*Transportation will not be provided.
**Students who will be 6th graders for the 2026-2027 school year can sign up for Jump Start to 6th Grade. No other middle school courses will be offered for students who will be entering grades 6-8.

Learning Structure:

In-Person structures will be utilized during Core Content Camps, Step Up to Kindergarten, and Engagement Camps. The specific structure for each course will be communicated through the course booklet on March 23rd, 2026.  

Registration Window: April 6th - June 5th, 2026 (Registration for JumpStart will remain open until July 24th)
