Chromebook Insurance Requirements 25/26

1. Students must have protective cover on in order to be covered by insurance.

2. Students are allowed max 2 screens per school year.  Additional screens will be billed in Infinite Campus

3. Keyboard/Key replacement will not be covered IF the keyboard frame has been removed (tampering with the device)

4. Student MUST explain how the incident/damage occurred

5. Damage must be accidental in nature in order to be covered by insurance 

   1. Examples/ Explanation of Damages that will NOT be covered by insurance: 

      1. “I’m not sure how it happened”

      2. “It was fine last hour but then I opened it and the screen was cracked”

      3. “My friend borrowed it and broke it”

      4. Slamming the cover shut

      5. Inserting foreign objects into ports
