Kaneland School District, in partnership with the Kaneland Education Association (KEA) and the Support Professionals’ Education Association of Kaneland (SPEAK), is excited to launch our Spread the Love Food Drive to support families in our community who may be experiencing food insecurity. Food banks often experience a noticeable dip in donations after the holiday season, when the surge of year-end generosity naturally tapers off. Unfortunately, this decline comes at a time when many families continue to face consistent, and sometimes increased, food insecurity during the winter months. This post-holiday gap makes ongoing, year-round giving critical to ensure families have reliable access to nutritious food long after the holidays end. This event brings our entire district together in a meaningful way, and we are reaching out to invite your support.
