Fees & Tool Requirements

Lab Fees: Instructional materials fee is determined by the individual cosmetology school.

Special Requirements: Cosmetology students are required to provide their own transportation to the training schools, buy uniforms, shoes, mannequin, supplies, and pay the required registration and lab fees. Fox Valley Career Center will pay the tuition for the required 750 hours for the first year to be completed by the end of the semester with the students (parents) responsible for paying the required kit fee plus registration of $100 and the lab and materials fee for 18 months over two school years. The cost for a non-high school student would be over $17,000 so this program offers substantial savings!

A student must have a minimum of 750 hours and all requirements to continue into the second year of the program.
