Youth Apprenticeships This program gives the FVCC student an opportunity to develop a trade or occupational skill. Youth apprenticeships could begin as early as the second semester of a student's junior year. The student would be paid for his/her work. The student may continue the program through the summer and during his/her senior year in our Directed Study program. The youth apprenticeship program would involve the student working with his/her school counselor, FVCC counselor, and career placement coordinator in order to meet graduation requirements while performing the apprenticeship. Youth apprenticeships may be in graphics, plumbing, electicity, welding, small business management, computers, etc. |
