It's official!! Ms. Girsch's class is Up, Up, and Away Into Fourth Grade! Ms. Girsch has her students work cooperatively in groups constructing tissue paper hot air balloon at the beginning of the school year. She also uses this activity as an introductory project to the Foss Science unit on Ideas and Inventions. More »

Students, with the help of Mrs. Aversa and Mr. Ahearn, took the initiative to clean up our pond area. Caitrin, a 5th grade student, noticed that the wildlife in our pond area was becoming scarce and there was much litter and debris. Caitrin, along with a few other students in the media/tech class, made flyers that were posted around the building asking for help. More »
