Kindles
Library News | Posted MAR 1 2011
The Kindle e-readers have proven very popular! A few reminders to share with your reader: downloading of new materials from the store is not permitted-it's just like i-tunes-someone has to pay for it! Remember that this is a piece of technology equipment-don't take it to lunch. Keep track of it and don't leave it lying on your desk or on the bus.
Thank You!

Students should drop their tickets in the designated "bucket" to be eligible for a prize drawing at the end of each month. Prizes include ice cream, slushies, skating, bowling, pizzas, gift cards, and miniature golf.
Special thanks to our sponsors of this incentive: Hill's Store in Kaneville, Paisano's Pizza, Family Fun Center, FunWay, St. Charles Bowl.

The topics of discussion were on how to do research, how to write an effective paper, and how the printing process comes together. Students and staff enjoyed the presentations and talked about her visit for weeks. To prepare for her visit, the whole school read and did activities from her book "Written in Bone".
