The library has extended the photo scavenger hunt deadline to October 6th. Students that turn in a completed photo scavenger hunt form to the library will earn 1 point for their team in the Marbelous contest. A fall class/homeroom scavenger hunt will be offered on October 1st. Now is the time to start earning points, by the way the 8th grade Red team has 162 points already!!!

Have you visited the library lately? The latest Kaneland Sports Booster merchandise is on display, and it is available for pre-order. You can pick-up order forms in the library, and sample merchandise will be on display in the library as well. All orders are due to your homeroom teacher by Friday, October 3rd. On Friday, October 3rd, Blackberry Creek Elementary School is having a Fun Fair from 5-8pm. There will be over 20 games with prizes, as well as bounce houses, a dessert walk, face painting, food service, touch-a-truck, etc. It should be a really good time. However, the PTO is in desperate need of more volunteers. Kort awards would be available to anyone interested. If you are interested in helping, please see Mrs. Frawley for more information.

Attention all 7th and 8th grade boys interested in basketball and wrestling:
Sign-ups will take place during P.E. classes on Tuesday. If you do not have a P.E. class, stop in the gym during the day and see Mr. Dalton.
A Final reminder: you must have your physical and insurance waiver on file with Mr. Dalton before you can tryout.

The 7th Grade Girls Volleyball teams split a pair of 3 game marathon matches last night with Aurora Washington. The A team lost a well played 3-game match by scores of 25-16, 22-25, 21-25. Lanie C. and Meredith M. combined for 29 points on the court. The B team has now won two matches in a row as a result of it's three game win by scores of 19-25, 25-11, 25-22. Special mention goes out to Abbie N. who broke her personal record with 20 points in the match. The Lady Knights will travel to Batavia for a pair of matches at 4:15pm.
