Curriculum Nights for the 2010-2011 School Year are as follows:

August 31, 2010 - 6th Grade White Team: 6:00pm-7:30pm

7th & 8th Grade White Teams: 6:30pm-8:00pm

September 1, 2010 - 6th Grade Blue Team: 6:00pm-7:30pm

HARTER MIDDLE SCHOOL SUPPLY DROP-OFF

Kaneland Harter Middle School will be open on Tuesday, August 24th from 8am-10am and again from 1pm-2pm for the purpose of opening up lockers, dropping off school supplies and walking through student schedules. During these hours the teachers WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE as they will be preparing for the school year.

NO After-School Practice or Activity Bus for 2010-2011

Reminder to MS/HS Parents: There will not be an after-school practice or activity bus this year due to budget reductions. Parents will need to make transportation arrangements for their middle school and high school students to be picked up after athletic practices, after-school activities and after-school detentions.

Volleyball Tryouts Scheduled

Tryouts for the 7th and 8th Grade Girls Volleyball teams will be held on August 18 and 19 at the Harter Middle School Gymnasium. 8th Grade will go from 8:00-10:00 a.m. and 7th Grade will follow from 10:15- 12:15. In order to tryout, each participant must turn in a physical examination form and insurance waiver on or before the 18th of August. It is suggested that parents make a copy of the sports physical before turning it in to the school, since most clinics do not keep copies of these yearly physicals. These forms are available on the District website (www.kaneland.org). Select Harter Middle School and then Athletics and look on the right side of the page.
