LATE START THURSDAY

Kaneland High School is pleased to announce that starting this fall students and staff will be participating in a Late Start every Thursday. On Thursdays, first period class will begin at 8:39am, and attendance will be taken for the first time that day. From 7:35am - 8:35am all of our Teaching staff and Administration will be participating in Kaneland Learning Communities. This time will be used to strategically advancing the achievement of all students. Similar to our open STEP on Monday's during the 2011-12 school year, students will have a non-required hour of time where support services and use of portions of our building will be available. Additional information will be shared with students during the first day of school, and during our first class meeting. We will also share information with the community at our Open House on Wednesday, September 5th at 7pm in the Auditorium.
