Congratulations to the WYSE team!

The Kaneland World Youth Science and Engeneering (WYSE) team placed 2nd at the regional competition at Waubonsee Community College and will advance, as a team, to the sectionals at Northern Illinois University on Tuesday, March 6. The team competed in the 1500 division which includes private as well as public schools. Brian Edwards placed 3rd in Biology and 2nd in English. Kaylee McPhee placed 1st in English. Brandon Stahl placed 2nd in physics. Ethan Witt placed 1st in physics. Shannon Woodill placed 2nd in math. Also contributing to the overall team score and helping to secure advancement to the NIU sectionals are: Kate Dray, Keri Groen, Mallory Groen, Nicole Hanlon, Joe Rodriguez, Alejandra Salinas, Nathaniel Snyder, Molly Speckman, and Ryan Straughn.
