Junior College and Career Readiness Meeting

Objective: Meet with junior individually to inform students of the process and preparing for college and post-secondary planning, reviewing current graduation requirements and senior year course selection.

Check list includes:

1) Set-up new password for Google Docs (steps 1 and 2 on direction sheet)

2) Move over the College and Career Folder from student shared file to home directory

3) Open konnect website and open home directory and College Career Folder

4) KONNECT check grades.

5) Credit check on graduation requirements

6) Career Cruising (look at portfolio)

7) Explain 8 period day and help select classes for senior year

8) Open college/career folder on konnect (ACT prep courses, college visit info., NCAA/NAIA info., managing college cost info., tutoring info., junior/senior timeline

9) Explain Explore/Plan scores and college readiness benchmark
